Barber Property Group was founded by Raymond Barber who has over 35 years’ experience as a qualified and practising Architect and fully licenced Builder. After returning to Brisbane from a stint in London in the 70’s, Raymond Barber Architects was founded in 1979 and is still in operation today. Ray’s business success naturally propelled him into the property development sector in the mid 80’s and has since been involved with over $200 million worth of development as Head Architect, Development Partner or Principle Developer. Ray’s flagship developments include, Jephson Hotel, Toowong, Ultra Apartments, Fortitude Valley, BP Milton & Quest Hotel, Kangaroo Point. Other interests include Aviation, Golf, Antiques & Wine.
Paul Barber
Paul Barber
Paul Barber is a hardworking and experienced property development professional with over 10 years’ experience in the industry for multi-national firms CBRE and Walker Corporation prior to joining the family business. He has been involved in all facets of the property development value chain including research, acquisition, finance, construction, sales and marketing. Throughout his career, Paul has represented multiple Institutional Clients including Stockland, Mirvac, Brisbane Airport Corporation, Port of Brisbane Corporation and Goodman in deals / developments ranging from $5 million to $1 billion end value. He holds a double degree from The University of Queensland – Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Real Estate & Development and Bachelor of Economics majoring in Finance. Outside of business. Pauls other interests include Golf, Rugby and Travel.
